TAAJ Restaurant
The TAAJ name comes from the initials from Traditional, Authentic, Aromatic Journey.
Location
The Taaj Restaurant and Lounge is situated on Queens Street Magherafelt opposite Meadowlane Shopping Centre and the town’s main public car park. For those who fancy a night on the town there are many top bars and clubs to choose from close by.
The Restaurant
On the ground floor there is a lounge bar area where customers can relax and enjoy pre and after meal drinks.
The main restaurant area is on the first floor; for those who cannot manage the stairs there is an elevator. The 65 seat themed restaurant is warm, spacious and beautifully decorated in a traditional Indian style with a modern twist.
The Food
Our Chefs have traveled around the world working in 5 star hotels and restaurants exploring new ways to recreate fresh and exciting Indian Cuisine. Customers regularly travel from neighbouring towns to taste this cuisine. We have a wide selection of mouth-watering dishes available.
Drinks
The extensive wine list and beers have been carefully selected to complement the food. There is a huge amount of delicious tipples available from classic cocktails, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks to tea and coffee available.
